1/6/02  Geoza has been updated in accordance with the Geoza streamlined rules.  We'll be testing and updating links, purging out of date material, and adding new and updated content.  Keep visiting, and thanks to all of the inquiries and comments over the last year!
12/25/00 A draft outline of a streamlined version of the ARIA rules, for Geoza, has been added, along with a modified skill list.  These rules are similar to the ICON system from Last Unicorn Games, but retain the 1-10 skill range from the ARIA rules.  This should reduce the amount of tinkering that has to be done with the Reality or Interactive History sections of ARIA.
7/3/00 Preliminary notes on a new Namujan Kongol, the Iolmarkazha, have been added to the Omnis section.
6/22/00 Two additional Background Aspects, Configuration Excession and Configuration Limitation, have been detailed in the Background Aspects listing of the Persona section.
5/19/00 Additional notes on the Geoza definitions of Omnessence Dominions have been added, and updates to various Origin profiles and paradigms have been added where necessary.  New Mana Paradigms and Sorcery Paradigms have been added as well.
5/1/00 Details on the Colejio te Sortilejio (College of Sorcery) and the Tunicos Asules (Blue Robes) in Merochas have been added to the Omnis section.  A brief discussion on Perceptions of Mana has been added to the Mana section, and another brief discussion of Rune styles has been added to the summary page of the Runes origin.  A general discussion of magic's role in Geozan society has been added here.
Additionally, listings of distaff (maternal) branches of the Casas Crantas have been added to the Casas listings in the Merochas section, and a similar listing of important Merochasan civic officials has been added here.
3/29/00 A blank Omni Template has been added. 
3/19/00  New material on Poyazun, a major Namujan trading center and newly independent city, has been added to the World section.  Some new notes on Namej have been added in concert with this new material.
10/24/99 Additional material on Alchemical materials has been added, as well as clarified detail on Mana Capacity and enchantment ratings for various materials (Mana section).
10/22/99 A few sample Alchemical materials have been listed.  More will be added to the Alchemy section in the future.
10/18/99 Additional detail on Alchemy is now available, including a discussion of Alchemical Preparation, and rules for Alchemical Enchanting.
10/16/99 More detail has been added to Alchemy, including Alchemical Research and some sample Paradigms.
10/10/99 An initial draft of a new narrative environment has been added: Namej is a sedentary tribal warrior culture that controls a rich source of mystical power.  Namej lies between the Karatasan Empire and the Yezruki steppes.   More details on Namujan culture will be added in the future, as well as profiles of several neighboring cultures.
10/4/99 Comments on various societal attitudes toward Spirit Magic have been added to the summary.  Similar comments for the other Origins will follow.
10/2/99 Rules for Ritual Mana Shaping have been posted, and additional clarifications and notes have been added to the Mana Profile.
9/26/99 The rules for magical research and optimization have been updated with some new material (see the research sections of Mana and Sorcery), and more additions and clarifications for Omnessence cost guidelines have been added.
8/29/99 Additional rules for using the Awareness talent in Geoza have been added to the Reality section.  A brief discussion of Merochasan foreign policy has also been added.
8/28/99 Material on Merochasan politics and military forces has been added.
8/21/99 The Merochas environment now has a lexicon section describing many of the locations and geographical features of Merochas.
7/19/99 The Sorcery Origin has been updated, as have the various examples of Geoza magic.  Specifics for spell optimization for Sorcery and Spirit Magic have also been added.
7/11/99 Updates to the Geoza Reality system have been added, including a discussion of spell component costs and magical research, and the first details on spell optimization for the Mana origin.  Differences in the Geoza Archetype and Dominion rating system have also been added to the main Reality page.
7/3/99 A larger world map of Geoza has been added for those with larger screens or a desire to see more detail.
6/27/99 Deific Origins have been added to the Reality section, including a general discussion of deities and religion in Geoza, and pantheon and deity lists.  A "generic" deific Origin summary and profile has been added.  Specific deity summaries, with profiles and descriptions of religious doctrine and organizations, will be added, beginning with the Jalani Pantheon.  Other future additions will include a discussion of the process of sanctification (deific enchanting) and an historical overview of religion in Geoza.
6/20/99 Narrative Environment profiles for Merochas, Telrak, Belaquin, Jyvelik, Daenj, and Zur have been added or updated and expanded.  Heritage Templates for Merochasans and Telrakans have been updated and expanded - more will follow. 
6/13/99 An example of persona creation has been added to the persona creation section.  You'll have to link to it from this entry, however, since no other links have been added for it.  In other developments, a complete listing of Geoza expertises has been added to the Persona Creation section.
6/6/99 The Merochas Narrative Environment now has an updated and improved profile, and additional Heritage Template information is available.  Merochas will be the first country emphasized, but look for additional material on other areas in the future.  Note that the city of Merochas now has its own distinct profile, with some additional information not found in the general Merochas profile.  More will be added.
1/28/99 Material on Alchemy has been added, including a more detailed profile of Alchemy according to the ARIA Reality system.   More material on Alchemy will follow, including lists of Alchemical substances and their uses.  Magicology profiles of Alchemyand Runes have also been added, as well as more detailed notes on the types of Mana manifestations which may be encountered by mages (in the Mana Profile section, under Availability).
1/24/99 A section on Magical Development ("Magicology")has been added.  This section is loosely based on the work initially done by Dave Sherohman for ARIA, but has been adapted to Geoza.
1/10/99 Descriptions of the various Background Aspects available to Geoza personas have been added to the Persona Creation section.
12/27/98 Basic rules for Enchanting objects have been added to the Mana section.
12/26/98 Metamagic has been added to the Magic section.  Metamagic includes using one Origin to help or hinder the use of another Origin.  The first sections to be posted, Wizardry, Thaumaturgy, and Conjuration, discuss some ways that Mana, Sorcery, and Spirit can be used to help each other out, including sample paradigms.
12/25/98 Examples of using  Mana, Sorcery, and Spirit in a game situation have been added.  Combining a narrative account with examples of the game mechanics involved, the examples will not only help illustrate the uses of Mana, Sorcery, and Spirit, but also some of the ways in which the ARIA system works.  Each example uses the same situation to illustrate the differences between the Origins.
12/24/98 The full ARIA profiles for the Mana Origin, Sorcery Origin, Spirit Origin, and Runes Origin have been added to the Magic Section!
12/21/98 The section on Psychics is finally complete (for now), as extensive material on Psychokinetics has been added.  The Geoza Psychics system offers a convenient low-to-moderate power mystical system for an ARIA world which doesn't involve delving into the ARIA Reality system.
12/20/98 By popular demand, additional material has been added to the Geoza Psychic system!  A complete description of the Psychomorphic Discipline has been added - this includes detailed rules for psychic attacks and various methods of messing with people's heads (always a favorite at parties).  The Regeneration discipline has also been detailed, describing how psychics can heal themselves, as well as the Teleportation and Telekinetics Disciplines.
12/13/98  Summaries of Rune Magic and Alchemy have been added to the System | Reality | Magic | Misc section.  A summary of Persona Creation has been added to the System section.
12/12/98 More material has been added.  Additional sections giving a brief overview of the ARIA Reality System and the ARIA Combat System have been added for those who aren't familiar with ARIA.
