Valnastium

alnastium, Domus Magna Jerbitonis, spreads through most of the Fassa Valley in the Dolomite region of Rhaetia. Valnastium was a Roman villa belonging to the Founder Jerbiton's family. He brought his followers here after the founding of Ordo Hermei to establish a place for the preservation and generation of beauty. Over the centuries, as the philosophy of the Domus has shifted, Valnastium has altered itself in accordance with the prevailing philosophy. The history of these changes is preserved in the structures and topography of the valley. Much of the valley is filled with fields, orchards, and gardens, interspersed with various manors, workshops, museums, and pavilions. The magical aura is fairly weak, first magnitude through much of the valley, rising to second magnitude at the conventum center in the northeast. Small Divine auras dot the valley at shrines or chapels. Eleven magi currently reside at Valnastium, although others frequently visit and may raise the number of magi present at any given time.
