ribunal Galliae includes most of geographical France and Flanders. It is bordered on the south by Tribunal Aquitaniae, on the southeast by Tribunal Helvetiae, and on the east by Tribunal Germaniae. Tribunal Britanniae lies across Mare Anglicum to the north. Hermetic culture in Gallia is dominated by Domus Flambonis, Tremeris, and Tytali. Magi compete for vis, texts, discipuli, and just about anything else. Certamen is a frequent occurence, and formal "tourneys" at Tribunal gatherings grant access to vis and other resources. Five Lieges Grandes are the prominent conventa in Gallia, each with one or more vassal conventa. Vassal conventa are technically independent, but functionally are similar to capitula in other Tribunalia. Vassal conventa are sometimes established to claim uncontested access to certain vis sites. Any new conventum established in Gallia must be a vassal of one of the five Lieges Grandes. Although Gallia lacks a strong tradition of hospitality like that of neighboring Germania, younger magi are often wander just as peregrinatores do, traveling from conventum to conventum to gain experience and find an eventual home. Some forego such efforts and instead travel to other Tribunala to find a conventum, typically Hispania or Syria.
