onfluensis spreads over three hills in a regio on the eastern bank of the Allier river, at the confluence of the Couze river. Across the river to the northwest is the town of Pierre-Encize.

Confluensis is a conventum Quaestoricius, dominated by magi Guernici and hoplites. Proctor Guernici is the formal leader, although Jart Guernici, leader of the Traditionalist faction within Domus Guernici, attempts to restrain his Transitionalist impulses.
