Jamal al-Jnun appears as either a large and impressive dromedary camel, when he assumes material form, or as a ghostly man with a pronounced bulbous nose and large teeth. He is a pagan Jinn, impious but usually polite enough not to flaunt his disregard for religion.

Jamal speaks Tamazight, Arabic, and accented Latin. He is typically found either with Dahlia or nearby, although he may be immaterial.
