Although each of the magical Origins in Geoza offers a variety of possibilities individually, when combined the possibilities expand even more.  Examples of some of the techniques for combining two or more of the magical Origins are discussed in this section.
Conjuration is the use of both the Sorcery and Spiritism Origins. Although any mage who practices both Sorcery and Spiritism can be known as a Conjuror, the actual practice of Conjuration involves the use of Sorcery to enhance a Spiritist's abilities, or vice-versa.  Sometimes Sorcerers who also practice Runes are called Conjurors, although this usage is considered non-standard by many adepts.
Thaumaturgy is the use of the Sorcery and Mana or Alchemy Origins. Although any adept who practices both Sorcery and Mana (or Sorcery and Alchemy) may be known as a Thaumaturge, the actual practice of Thaumaturgy involves the use of Mana and/or Alchemy to enhance a Sorcerer's abilities, or vice-versa.
Wizardry is the use of both the Mana and Spiritism or Runes Origins. Although any adept who practices both Mana and Spiritism or Runes can be known as a Wizard, the actual practice of Wizardry involves the use of Spiritism or Runes to enhance a Mystic's abilities, or vice-versa.
Any adept who practices several forms of magic may be called an Archmage, although technically only adepts who can practice Sorcery, Mana, and Spiritism rate that term.  Thus, an adept who practices Sorcery, Spiritism, and Alchemy might be called an Archmage, even though he lacks the intrinsic ability to directly Access the Mana Origin.
