The
metal created by this effect may have almost any appearance, but typically
appears as a dull bluish silver color, and feels slightly "off"
- not quite as one would expect it to feel, no matter what that
expectation is. Since this paradigm is typically designed for
permanence, the quantity produced is very small. The difficulty of
shaping this effect is the target Affinity of the material - thus greater
quantities, on the whole, are much harder to create (since more Mana must
be spent on increasing the quantity, less Mana can be allocated to
reducing the Affinity of the resulting material). |

Potency |
Potency
determines the quantity of Witchmetal created. Witchmetal is assumed
to have an Affinity of 10. Creating matter with a lesser Affinity is
possible, but costs 2 additional points per Affinity below 10, to a
minimum of Affinity 1. This example assumes an Impressive level of
Potency (10-20) and Affinity 7.
