Description
Witchmetal creates a uniquely strong, flexible, and hard metal.  The quantity created depends on the Potency of the effect, while the shape and appearance depend more on the artisanship and artistry of the adept.  Versions of Witchmetal can be created through transformative Mana or Alchemy effects, but true Witchmetal is a Mana creation, brought wholly into existence through magic.
Effects
The metal created by this effect may have almost any appearance, but typically appears as a dull bluish silver color, and feels slightly "off" - not quite as one would expect it to feel, no matter what that expectation is.  Since this paradigm is typically designed for permanence, the quantity produced is very small.  The difficulty of shaping this effect is the target Affinity of the material - thus greater quantities, on the whole, are much harder to create (since more Mana must be spent on increasing the quantity, less Mana can be allocated to reducing the Affinity of the resulting material).

Potency Potency determines the quantity of Witchmetal created.  Witchmetal is assumed to have an Affinity of 10.  Creating matter with a lesser Affinity is possible, but costs 2 additional points per Affinity below 10, to a minimum of Affinity 1.  This example assumes an Impressive level of Potency (10-20) and Affinity 7.

Notes
Witchmetal has all the advantages of exceptional quality steel, is less likely to break, doesn't tarnish or rust, and weighs one-third less.
The adept must make appropriate artisan or art trials to determine the functionality, aesthetics, etc. of the created object.
