ri Ozera, "Three Lakes," sits on a hill overlooking the eastern shore of Lake Dolgomosh in the Novgorod region. The three much larger lakes from which its name is derived are Lake Aldoga to the northwest, Lake Onega to the north, and Lake Beloye to the east.
Tri Ozera, which locals pronounce as a single word, Triozera, often slurring it into a sound like "Trizere," is the preeminent conventum of Sarmatia. Founded in 1012 AD, it is the oldest extant conventum in Sarmatia, host of Tribunal meetings, and host for Sedes Merceris Sarmatiae. The Mercere Portal linking Triozera to Harco makes it almost cosmopolitan in its outlook, at least by comparison to anything else in Sarmatia.
Triozera is Conventum Avitum for Toparchia Boreia; conventa in the north-central region of Sarmatia are Tributum to Triozera.
Triozera is surrounded by a large wooden palisade, with three partitions similar to those of a motte and bailey castle. The partition is Tverdyna, a large stone keep where magi have their laboratories. The middle portion, known as Vysokiy Dom (High House), contains a large wooden hall, residences and work areas for specialists and custodes. The lower portion, known as Khozyaystvo (Trade House), contains warehousing and stables supporting Triozera's thriving commercial enterprises. Situated relatively near to both Veliky Novrogod and Ladoga, Triozera trades a variety of commodities throughout Rus and the Baltic region.
Eight magi and six caduceatores reside at Triozera, although several are typically away at any given time. Triozera is the senior Conventum Avitum under Leges Tribunalis Sarmatiae.
