peleum Leonum occupies a deep cave complex in the northwestern foothills of the Caucasus Mountains. An exterior fortress sits atop the cliff above the cave entrance, and a supporting settlement lies downslope from the cave entrance. Speleum Leonum was founded in 1264 AD, as Conventum Tributum to Millecaverna, by magi Syriae; joined later by magi fleeing the destruction of conventa Syriae
