Millecavernae

illecavernae, "Thousand Caves," occupies a network of caves in a gorge in the Ural Mountains. Founded in 1202 AD, it is a small but growing conventum. Its isolation and sheer distance from other conventa make Millecavernae nearly unknown to the rest of Ordo Hermei, although magi Bjornaer know of it, and know of the magi Bjornaer who reside there. The main settlement lies at the mouth of the gorge, with sancta and other specialized sites occupying caves in the gorge. Six magi reside at Millecavernae, which is Conventum Avitum for Toparchia Oriens under Leges Tribunalis Sarmatiae; conventa in the east of Sarmatia are Tributum to Millecaverna.
