Požárius Flambonis was born at Porta Germaniae, the son of Aethranavita Wercha and Inese. Acutus Flambonis detected his Gift during his stay at Porta Germaniae, and claimed him as his discipulus. Soon after, Acutus departed for Syria with his young discipulus. Požárius thereafter spent most of his apprenticeship at Aditum, in Syria. While there, he came to know Stannus Flambonis, who had also been born at Porta Germaniae many years before.

Following his provocatio in 1257, his parens taught him the Parma Magica and bid him to find his own path. Požárius decided to return to his home, at least for a time, and made his way back to Porta Germaniae, where he joined Capitulum Arcis Caelitis at the newly formed Locus Insula Valaamis.
