a'alhaya, also called Aquae Vitae in Latin, means "water of life." This conventum surely could not exist without the magical springs that give life to the otherwise arid and barren land. Since the early twelfth century, Ma'alhaya has been a place for meditation and pursuit of the Enigma. Influenced by Sufi philosphy, Ma'alhaya is Nidum for magi Criamonis Ambulandis Recessim.
