a Torla Ardiente rises on the northern shore of a small lake, amidst the Cáceres hills. The tower for which the conventum is named was conjured from reddish granite, with a conical red clay-tile roof. The two massive door valves are bronze, inlaid with mosaic patterns in red garnets. In the bright Iberian sun, the tower does seem to blaze with an inner fire.

This was the home of Praeco Hispaniae, Archimagus Ardentius Flambonis. He founded the conventum in the late eleventh century, soon after the conquest of Toledo. Since that time, La Torla Ardiente has been the primary base from which magi Flambonis and their allies strike against Islamic wizards, both within and without Ordo Hermei. However, at Tribunal Grandis 1261 AD, Ardentius was convicted of attacking other magi without properly declaring Bellum Magum, and refused his sentence, escaping Forum Hermei; he was Marched in absentia, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
