a Laguna Negra sits on the lower slopes of Pico Urbión, overlooking Laguna Negra. The oldest sancta occupy caves cut into the side of the mountain with Perdo magic; several newer sancta rest on ledges cut into the mountainside. Covenfolk occupy villages on the shore of the lake, and a few miles to the east near the entrance to the valley.

La Laguna Negra is one of the Veteres, founded in the late tenth century when the region was still nominally controlled by the Zaragoza Taifa. The conventum has been dominated by magi of the lineage of Apromar since its founding. Archimaga Azucena Flambonis has considered moving the conventum south, closer to the current frontier, but so far, tradition and lethargy have superceded that desire.

Jacut Tytali claims the neighboring valley of Laguna de Urbion, over two miles in length, as his sanctum.
