arida spreads throughout wooded hills about twenty miles north of Malaga, in southern Andalusia. Founded in a time of greater tolerance and prosperity in Iberia, Karida pursues a policy of peace and tolerance between Christians and Muslims. The magi of Karida are all nominally Christian, although several are definitely heretical in their beliefs. The covenfolk are predominently Mozarabs, and Andalusi Arabic is the common language of the conventum. Karida has no central stronghold or edifice. The magi inhabit sancta in various minor magical auras throughout the wooded hills. The conventum shuns industry and agriculture; the covenfolk, and several of the magi, pursue artistic occupations.
