isneach was founded in 1231 AD, by magi & discipuli fleeing their previous homes in Aquitania. Arriving in Hibernia without much knowledge of the Tribunal, they happened to meet with Eimar Ex Miscellanea, a Hedge Wizard with an extensive knowledge of Meathe. Offered membership in a new conventum, he showed them a regio on an ancient and powerful site, the hill of Uiseach in the center of Eire. The magi settled in the ruins of an old conventum in the regio, long abandoned, and began the hard work of establishing a conventum.

Decades later, the conventum remains rustic, but has gained grudging acceptance in Tribunal Hiberniae. The magi now seek to build upon the foundation they have laid, hoping to grow their conventum into a place of beauty and culture in this strange land.
