hios overlooks an idyllic cove on the west coast of the isle of Chios, off the Ionian coast near Smyrna. The hillside is terraced with gardens, fruit trees, and sancta, and white stucco houses line the shoreline below.

Chios is a very wealthy conventum, despite the chaos of the last half-century, and that wealth is evident throughout the conventum. Visitors are welcomed with gracious hospitality.
