Genovino has completed the relocation of the tannery to the new Morava site, and Yanush Došeka and Ingrida Jirchář have moved to the Morava vesnicka; Genovino is moving there this year with his family and apprentice

Zdenek notes that the Foedus will need more alum for tawing of pigskins; he has asked Helmi to look into it

Zdenek notes that construction of the wall around the henges in Interior has begun, although it may take awhile to complete, given other matters

Foedus lacks good quality iron for the weaponsmith; he needs good iron; Consilium approved acquisition of "hinduwani" iron for the weaponsmith, up to a full shipload, but no trip has been made - when will the Foedus be able to acquire the good iron? Verticus will meet with Pan Majic, Helmi, Shahin, and Sameen separately to plan such a trip.

Should the Foedus post bridge guards? There have been a number of visitors arriving lately; perhaps post one Custos and one Straz to the duty - the mladsi can supplement for watches elsewhere - Consilium approves, noting that guards should contact the Aedile first if a magus is needed, and the Rector if the Aedile is not present, and that the Aedile and Rector should advise Zdenek and Pan Majic of travel plans so that they will know if one of them is unavailable.

Zdenek reports that the urus tokens (covenfolk call them býci or "bulls") are beginning to be used for Foedus internal payments, and their use should spread accordingly

zalesaku are out again overwinter for furs and hides; hunting in forests east of Morava continues to be good
Zuzana continues training sadaři (orchardists); orchards in hranice nedávný are producing high quality fruit
Marian's two new hives in the hranice nedávný are also doing well

Production of charcoal and timber continues to go well using the magic wand

Pig herds are increasing and pork products are more available without pannage, thanks to the wand from Lucas

Production of glue from fish and pigs has increased, and the surplus is being stored in the caverna conservationis (clearly marked as glue)

Zdenek reports that construction of the ferry across the Morava has been completed; it runs just south of the current ford; he notes that thanks are due to Lutozzo for the very fine hawsers; it was necessary to construct sturdy wooden towers on each bank to support the cable

Zdenek reports that about two-thirds of the total arable land is now cultivated; new plots will be needed in the future; should the Foedus prioritize forestry or agriculture with the remaining land? - Consilium advises to emphasize forestry and pigs over farming, as those may use the wands more effectively.

Zdenek also notes that despite the recent addition of girls from Prague, there seems to still be a relative lack of girls (in the 6-9 year range); at some point, the Foedus will need to adjust, should we do so sooner, with younger girls? Helmi thinks this might be better for the new girls?
- not as many would be needed perhaps 8-10
- perhaps in the future (1254 or 1255) a trip could be planned for this purpose - the Consilium approves of this plan, with a note that Zdenek should include intelligence in his review of the girls

Danalia expresses some concern about the tannery; she noticed increased effluvia from the tannery downstream near the sandbars in the Autumn; she proposes relocating the tannery entirely to the Morava vesnicka; the Consilium agrees, and directs Zdenek to begin the effort; Danalia notes that she will be able to conduct some earth-shaping magic this year to prepare a site

Moritz has completed special training in illumination with Chesna Lyubadcera, and will begin to train another percamenarius apprentice (Danes Alinasyn); his time for the forseeable future will be taken up with the text project, but he will be able to train his apprentice while working on that project
Rike will begin training another scribe (Blahos) this year

Alexandra is taking over the Latin class beginning this year, there is some space remaining in this class
- she also has time in Summer to teach a class - is there any special need? or perhaps supplement Latin instruction for the younger protodiscipuli?

Leyna has taught basic Hermetic theory to the scribes; should she teach the basics to the younger ancillae (essentially making them ministeres)?

Sameen requests that a second copy of Asclepius be made (perhaps as a project for Chesna?); she thinks that having a second copy of this text would be very beneficial

Frederick suggests that Yarok be given additional training as a scribe, so that he can translate the Greek texts in the library - Moritz notes that any training for Yarok would need to wait until he and Rike have completed their current commitments
