Maison de Cherbourg

aison de Cherbourg was originally founded to manage various mercantile interests for conventum Fengheld in Germania, but joined with other founding conventa of Tribunal Belgicae in 1261 AD. Although Cherbourg maintains some ties to Fengheld, it is now an independent conventum with its own charter. As Archimaga Marguerite Flambonis rules with a velvet-lined gauntlet, its charter is exceedingly simple, but divides inheritences between her two filii.

The conventum proper is located within an ancient grove to the west of the city, surrounding a single three-story tower, which contains a laboratory on each floor. There is also a fortified townhome within the city, the maison from which the conventum takes its name. Originally owned by Sir Jozel of Poznan, a Polish crusader, "Lady Marguerite" inherited the maison following his death in 1259 AD. Most of the retainers live and work in the city, with only a few trusted servants residing near the grove (bosquetiers).

Aleaume Conestable Aleaume
Husband to Valentina, he is a young man with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Aleaume is Conestable de Maison de Cherbourg, and a younger son of the lord of Pirou.

Dame Eglantine
Wife to Valentin, she is a young brunette woman with pretty brown eyes. Eglantine is lady in waiting to Valentina, and the daughter of a local noble from Barfleur.
